Lowcountry Family Receives Trip of a Lifetime for Their Daughter with Cerebral Palsy

A Lowcountry family is getting to take their little girl with cerebral palsy on the trip of a lifetime… to Disney World… all for free. And with the help of a charity called ” When U Dream a Dream” and MUSC.

Dr. Andre Hebra, MUSC, ” When we put out the word that we were looking for candidates to participate in this incredible event, everybody on the team, said oh you know, we’ve got to pick Jasmine.”

Christine Middleton, Jasmine’s Mother, “So many parents in our situation want to be able to do this for our children, but there is so much involved trying to take your child on vacation… And with this opportunity there is a lot of things that we don’t even have to worry about. We’re thankful, we’re grateful.”

Joshua Middleton, Jasmine’s Brother, “Jasmine is really special to me, and just because she’s disabled doesn’t mean she’s not a person and I love her a lot.”
