Waco: Local Teen With Cerebral Palsy Gets Specialized Club Car For Birthday

Just like any 16-year-old, Ciara Holt of Lorena is looking forward to getting her own car.

Holt, a girl with a big smile that will melt any heart, won’t let her cerebral palsy, a congenital disorder which limits her movement, muscle tone, or posture, bring her down.

That’s why, before turning 16, she asked her dad for a car.

“I didn’t know what to do really. When you asked her what do you want for your birthday she said a car. What do I do,” father John Cotton said.

Ciara’s family friend, Charlie Fisher, 18, heard about her wish and wanted to help.

Charlie bought a beat up golf cart for 50 bucks and then got to work.
