Cerebral Palsy Hero 1/28/23 – Charlie

Say hello to today’s #CPHero, Charlie! This 10-year-old 5th grader is like his favorite song, “The Itsy-Bitsy Spider”—he never gives up! Charlie has proven time and again that he can do more than most think he is capable of. He continues to attend classes with his peers as he navigates the world with his wheelchair or gait walker, communicates with foot pedals to control his speech device, and uses enlarged screens to assist his limited vision; all while staying strong on a home blended G-tube diet.

Charlie loves classical music, funny kid authors, and listening to different languages. He finds humor in day-to-day challenges while exceeding to the best of his abilities! Like Itsy Bitsy, a bit of rain might wash him down, but he is going try to get up again and again.
