Cerebral Palsy Hero 1/15/21 – Olivia

In memory of #CPHero Olivia.

Olivia was born on August 16, 1995 at 24 weeks, weighing a mere 1 lb. 5 oz. From day one she was a fighter and even though she had severe CP and was non-verbal, she was a light to everybody who knew her. She was smart, inquisitive, and had a contagious smile. She loved animals, being outside, and just being with friends and family. She accomplished a lot in her life, including zip-lining, relay racing, rock concerts, and she was even a torch bearer for the BC Winter Games. Olivia’s family has vowed to hold onto all the lessons she taught them, and to live and to cherish the “little” things. BIG things truly do come is the smallest of packages. Thank you, Olivia, for a life well lived.
