Meet #CPHero Kai. Kai is 11 years old and underwent selective dorsal rhizotomy (SDR) surgery when he was just 5 years old. He used to walk high on his tip toes, but the surgery has helped him walk flat on his feet which has helped his balance tremendously. If his photo tells us anything, it’s that Kai is a fighter in life!
