Cerebral Palsy Hero 2/4/26 – Frederick

Let’s give a huge CPFN welcome to today’s #CPHero, Frederick! This 5-year-old fighter was diagnosed with heart failure at 4 months, with two heart defects, PSD, and ASD. A negative reaction to medication led to cardiac arrest and an open-heart surgery, which in turn resulted in brain injury, epilepsy, and cerebral palsy. Undeterred, this busy little guy engages in daily exercises, weekly physio-, speech, and occupational therapy, and Dynamic Movement Intervention. And in case you thought he may be slacking, Frederick has Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy on the horizon, too!
