Cerebral Palsy Hero 3/19/24 – Spiro

Let’s give a huge CPFN welcome to today’s #CPHero, Spiro! Known as “Super Spiro” almost since birth, this Spider-Man-loving 6-year-old hero has battled hypotonic cerebral palsy, infantile spasms, Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome (LGS), hip dysplasia, and Cortical Visual Impairment (CVS). Told he would never walk, this year Spiro scored a major victory when he took his first steps on a treadmill (with a little support from a gait trainer). Well done, Spiro!
