Cerebral Palsy Hero 4/2/24 – Lincoln

Everyone give a huge CPFN welcome to today’s #CPHero, Lincoln! Lincoln suffered two strokes before he was four months old, and at 13 months received a diagnosis of mild cerebral palsy with left hemiplegia. The family was devastated at the news he would never walk or talk. But, through the efforts of 8 different specialists and his own hard work in occupational, physical, and speech therapies, this tough 5-year-old can now talk and walk and even runs! When he grows up, Lincoln wants to be a doctor like those who help him now. He never lets his diagnosis define him and he is absolutely an inspiration to us all!
