Cerebral Palsy Hero 7/3/20 – Sarah

Meet #CPHero Sarah. Sarah had a difficult start to life after being born at only 24 weeks, weighing only 1 pound 2 ounces. She spent 138 days in the NICU, but she was born with a fighting spirit and pulled though. Her CP still affects the left side of her body and has caused some vision loss, but Sarah never lost that fighting spirit. She grew up playing sports, and volunteering at her local zoo and animal shelter. Sarah is now 20 years old and is turning her love of animals into her career by studying zoology at Ohio Wesleyan University. She’s showing the world that, with a little hard work, anything is possible!
