Cerebral Palsy Hero 8/24/20 – Shelby

Meet #CPHero Shelby. Shelby’s doctors didn’t think he would survive 24 hours after birth, but he’s now 26 years old and thriving! He loves batman and the police force and would love to help protect his community. For his birthday his family teamed up with the local sheriff’s office and made his dream come true by making him a police officer for the day. Shelby was escorted by 5 police cars, including lights and sirens, a K9 unit, and 7 Deputies, to go take down down a “bad guy”. The story was even covered by a local news station!
