North River Collaborative (NRC) is a multi-purpose, educational organization formed in 1976 under Mass. General Law Chapter 40, Section 4E. The member school districts of Abington, Avon, Bridgewater-Raynham, East Bridgewater, Hanover, Rockland, West Bridgewater and Whitman-Hanson work together to provide high-quality, cost effective educational programs and services. NRC is considered to be an extension of the school districts. NRC has become a truly multi-purpose collaborative providing programs to
over 200 students with disabilities ages 3 to 22 from our eight member districts and over 20 surrounding communities. The Collaborative provides over 800 students with educationally related services such as speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and English language instruction.
