ACL/Boulder County
"The ACL is the Arc Chapter serving Boulder and Broomfield Counties. Since 1974 we have been providing resources, training, and individual and systems change advocacy for children and adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities, their families, friends and communities.
We are a membership organization and value the support of our members and their participation in the governance of the ACL. It is easy and inexpensive to become a member and it ensures that we can stay in touch with you on issues of importance in the lives of people with intellectual/developmental disabilities."
We believe that people with developmental disabilities belong in the community in natural proportions — to live, to work, and to participate fully in all aspects of community life. The ACL in Boulder County exists to ensure these rights by acting as a catalyst to promote attitudes, practices, programs and policies that result in full participation.
