Offering community-based recreation activities and leisure services specially designed for children, teens, and adults who have a disability and/or special needs. Our services are designed to assist people in developing and using their leisure time in ways that enhance their health, well-being, and independence.

How to Participate
If you are interested in learning more about the Adaptive and Inclusive Recreation (AIR) program, please review the catalog on our web site. When you find an activity that you would like to participate in, call the AIR staff at 503-823-4333 to register. You can also email the program staff, whose information in on the left side of this page. Pre-registration is not required for the monthly dance or the weekly bowling program.

About the Program
Considered one of the top specialized community recreation programs in the United States, the AIR program serves people of all ages at sites throughout the city, including PP&R’s community centers, Teen Programs, and SUN community schools.
