With the emphasis that our children are children first, before their visual disability, AAPVI provides a forum for information, activities, access to experts in the vision field and is a statewide support group for families of children with visual impairments. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

AAPVI is under the umbrella of the National Association for Parents of Children With Visual Impairments (NAPVI).
