There are six state parks in and around Kodiak Island

The following 3 parks are on the Kodiak Road System:

• Ft. Abercrombie State Historical Park
• Buskin River State Recreation Site
• Pasagshak River State Recreation Site 

These Additional 3 Parks are accessible by boat or floatplane:

• Afognak Island State Park
• Woody Island State Recreation Site 
• Shuyak Island State Park
