Albina Early Head Start Parent Child Development Services (PCDS)
The Parent Child Development Services program is founded on the fundamental principle that parents are the child’s first and the most important teachers.
Our program is based on a nationally recognized research based curriculum “Parents as Teachers” that provides learning tools for intellectual, language, motor and social emotional development. During the first five years of a child’s life, it is critical that a child receives the foundation and support for all areas of development.
We encourage and empower parents and provide them with all necessary tools and resources that will help them to prepare their children for academic excellence and success in all aspects of their life.
