Type of Service: Public Transit – Urban and Small Urban Systems. Fixed Route in Cumberland area

Allegany County Transit provides fixed route transportation to the public within Allegany County. The fixed route

system operates ten (10) routes Monday thru Friday, plus a Tuesday run From Lonaconing to LaVale and

Cumberland. Our regular fare is $2.00 with no transfer fees. For more information about fares click here .

Allegany County Transit offers Demand Response service. These are pre-arranged curb-to-curb service providing

transportation for qualifying elderly individuals and/or individuals with disabilities.

This service is designed to meet the needs of our senior citizens and individuals with disabilities. This is an advance

reservation service. Reservations can be made Monday through Friday during all regular business

hours. Reservations can be made by 4:00pm the day before and up to ten (10) days prior.

To schedule an ADA trip please call Alltrans at 301-724-1255, Monday through Friday between 7:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Trips must be scheduled no later than 4:00pm the day before your trip.
