"The American Council of the Blind of Ohio is a statewide non-profit membership organization with offices in Columbus, Ohio and dedicated to improving the quality and the equality of life for Ohioans who are blind or visually impaired.

We direct our efforts toward education, information, legislation, and other activities designed to enhance the life styles of people who are blind or visually impaired. Our members include persons who are blind, visually impaired, and sighted, all working together to achieve our goals.

We are a part of a national organization, our being one of the more than 71 state and special interest affiliates of the national organization of the American Council of the Blind which has offices in Arlington, Virginia"
