National AMBUCS, Inc. is a nonprofit charitable organization with a diverse membership dedicated to creating mobility and independence for people with disabilities. AMBUCS now has more than 5,000 members in more than 150 chapters in over 30 states.

Our members work on a grassroots level to fulfill our mission Creating Mobility & Independence for People with Disabilities. The Amtryke Therapeutic Tricycle Program is one of the main ways we do that. Our members fundraise for and give away about 3,500 Amtrykes each year. AMBUCS Members put the mission into action in their own community by: Providing Amtryke therapeutic tricycles to individuals unable to operate a traditional bike Awarding academic scholarships for therapists And performing various other forms of community service for people with disabilities.

Currently, there more than 5,000 AMBUCS members spread throughout over 150 chapters in 30 states – and we’re growing!
