On Saturday, June 9, 2012, Children’s Memorial's main hospital moved to 225 E Chicago Avenue, and became Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago. This new 23-story, state-of-the-art hospital helps further our mission to provide superior care to the region’s most critically ill and injured children.  Under our new name, we continue to provide outpatient care at additional city and suburban locations including Chicago's Lincoln Park neighborhood (expanded services), Arlington Heights, Glenview, Lake Forest, New Lenox, Westchester, Winfield and Chicago's Uptown neighborhood. We also maintain our partnerships with area community hospitals.

Ranked among the top in the nation by U.S. News & World Report for pediatric neurology (and neurosurgery), Lurie Children's is the only hospital in Illinois that is included in the honor roll of Best Children's HospitalsLurie Children's Epilepsy Center, led by Douglas R. Nordli, Jr., MD, is internationally known for its clinical work and research. Staff members have expertise in less invasive epilepsy surgery, ketogenic diet, clinical drug trials, febrile status epilepticus and complex forms of refractory epilepsy.
