Arc of Dearborn
The Arc Dearborn was founded in 1954 by a group of local families concerned with ensuring their children with developmental disabilities would not be forgotten by the educational system. For nearly sixty years, The Arc Dearborn has provided advocacy and community inclusion opportunities for community members with disabilities and their families.
The Arc Dearborn provides a wide range of supportive services, information and advocacy to improve the quality of life for children and adults with mental retardation and related developmental disabilities and their families. The Arc promotes opportunities to live, learn and work in Dearborn, Dearborn Heights and surrounding communities among family, friends and neighbors.
