Service, advocacy, inclusion, family, and community are what The Arc is about. The Arc of East Central Iowa offers multiple programs and services in eight counties in Iowa. We deliver high quality programs that produce results. More importantly, we improve the quality of life for individuals and families affected by epilepsy, autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, ADHD, and brain injury.We believe in building better lives for people with disabilities and their families.

In Home Respite:  Care takes place in the consumer's home or in the home of a registered provider. In-home Respite may be scheduled on a regular basis or as needed, and may vary from a few hours to extended stays.
