The Arizona Centers for Comprehensive Education and Life Skills (ACCEL)  is private, nonprofit organization for children with special needs, ages 5-22, and adults 18 and over.  ACCEL recognized as a leader in the field of Special Education and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).  ACCEL continues to grow.  In 1995, we added a second campus located in Tempe, AZ and an adult program on our Metro Campus.  In 2002, Michael’s Garden opened its doors and in 2009, the BISTA Center and Gifted Hands Boutique were opened.

As part of our continuum of care, we also assist organizations, districts, schools and classrooms in implementing strategies that promote academic and behavioral achievement, social skills and adaptive behaviors that transfer to home and community settings.

Our mission is to provide exceptional educational, behavioral, therapeutic, and vocational programs to individuals with special needs, to give them the necessary skills to learn, to work and to live successfully with dignity and independence.
Our philosophy incorporates a multi-disciplinary, collaborative model that moves instruction out of the traditional classroom and into a wide variety of functional settings. Students and staff utilize indoor and outdoor classrooms, as well as on and off-campus with the goal of maximizing each student’s independence."
