Arrowhead Transit has been serving the Arrowhead Region since 1974. Originally created to provide low-cost transportation for the poor, disabled and the elderly, today with nearly 70 routes in and around Northeastern Minnesota we are the largest public rural transportation system in Minnesota – and in the United States.  All travelers and commuters are welcome on Arrowhead Transit. We provide service between towns, to Grand Rapids, Hibbing and Duluth and inter-city services in Grand Rapids

Each year we provide transportation to thousands of residents in the seven counties of Northeastern Minnesota: Aitkin County, Carlton County, Cook County, Itasca County, Koochiching County, Lake County and St Louis County.

Our seats are comfortable, our drivers are trained and experienced, and our buses are handicap (and bike) accessible

Our scheduled, Dial-A-Ride, and Rural Rides services provide a flexible option for your travel needs
