Assabet Valley Collaborative, a non-profit educational entity, comprised of nine school districts representing thirteen towns, and was established in 1976. Assabet Valley Collaborative serves the towns of Berlin, Bolton, Boylston, Hudson, Lancaster, Marlboro, Maynard, Millbury, Northboro, Shrewsburg, Southboro, Stow and Westboro. It is a public special education day school serving middle and high school students coping with emotional, learning and behavioral challenges. Assabet Valley serves students who have severe and profound, multiple disabilities within four host school sites located within public schools.
