"The Boys & Girls Clubs of Warwick is a non-profit organization working to help youth of all background, with a special concern for those from disadvantaged circumstances, develop the qualities to become responsible citizens and leaders. Our core services include activities such as educational games, tutoring, drug prevention, sports and physical education, recreation, arts & crafts, and environmental awareness, etc. Any child   in grades 1 through 12 can join the  Boys & Girls Clubs of Warwick. For more than forty years, the Boys & Girls Club of Warwick has provided the youth of our city with a safe and fun place to spend their time after school.
We maintain a building-centered program, promoting skills training, educational enhancement, character development, and family-centered activities. Through this commitment, the Club offers quality and affordable day care, educational and recreational programming, and physical exercise activities, summer camp opportunities, and a wide variety of daily events for our members to chose from. All of our programs are designed to meet the ideals set out by the Boys and Girls Clubs of America’s “Core Programs:” Character and Leadership Development , which empowers youth to support and influence the Club and community, sustainable meaningful relationships with others, develop a positive self-image, participate in the democratic process and respect their own and others cultural identities. Education and Career Development enables youth to become proficient in basic educational disciplines apply learning to everyday situations and embrace technology to achieve success in a career. Health and Life Skills develops young people’s capacity to engage in positive behaviors that nurture their own well-being, set personal goals and live successfully as self-sufficient adults. The Arts enables youth to develop their creativity and cultural awareness through knowledge and appreciation of the visual arts, crafts, performing arts and creative writing. Sports, Fitness, and Recreation develops fitness, positive use of leisure time, skills for stress management, appreciation for the environment and social skills. "
