Camp Allen, Inc

Camp Allen is a residential summer camp for individuals with physical and/or developmental disabilities. On 70 acres. One hour north of Boston Individualized sessions for different ability levels.  Supported by Boston Kiwanis & Manchester Lions Clubs.

Camp Allen welcomes about 600 campers each summer. They are persons of all ages with special needs and extraordinary challenges, including cerebral palsy, autism, muscular dystrophy, Down syndrome, and other developmental disabilities. In many cases, the week or two campers spend at Camp Allen is the only extended time during the year that they spend enjoying the outdoors.

At Camp Allen, kids and adults take part in games, arts and crafts and sing-a-long. They swim, eat S'mores around the campfire, and learn new camp songs. They gain the satisfaction of mastering new skills and the joy of making new friends. They share a beautiful place where they truly belong. They return year after year, many of the older campers have been coming for decades!
