Camp Buckskin

Strengthening social skills in youth with ADHD, Learning Disabilities and Aspergers for over 50 years. Camp Buckskin  provides a structured, consistent and supportive environment with quality instruction in traditional camp and academic activities.

Camp Buckskin is an overnight summer camp program that specialized in serving boys and girls ages 6-18 who are experiencing social skill and academic difficulties.

A summer camp program that specializes in serving boys and girls ages 6-18 who are experiencing academic and social skill difficulties. Serves campers who have a primary diagnosis of ADHD/ADD and/or Learning Disabilities, while others may have an additional or related diagnosis.  Program develops peer relations, interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills.

Since their start in 1959, more than 8,000 children have benefited from Camp Buckskin's therapeutic program.    While not mandatory, many of our campers have ADHD, Learning Disabilities, Aspergers or are adopted or have similar needs. They are average to above average intelligence and  have an interest in making changes in attitudes and attendant habits
