For sixty years, Easterseals UCP North Carolina & Virginia has provided quality recreational and therapeutic camp programming. Camp Easterseals UCP, established in 1957 in Craig County, Virginia is enjoyed by over 400 individuals each year.

Camp Easterseals UCP is designed to offer children and adults with disabilities the opportunity to enjoy fun and challenging activities in a supportive and cooperative atmosphere. From campfire sing-a-longs and talent shows to canoeing, nature walks, swimming and arts & crafts, the Easterseals UCP Virginia camping program provides the excitement and activity of a traditional summer camp program in a beautiful, accessible setting.

Camp Easterseals UCP is accredited by the American Camp Association.  Safety of the campers and staff are of primary concern in each of our programs. Precautions are taken in all activities to avoid unnecessary risks and the possibility of accidents.

We believe that all children and adults with disabilities should have the opportunity to participate in traditional camp activities. Our accessible camp facility can accommodate campers with a wide range of special needs. To best determine a camper’s eligibility, Easterseals UCP staff will carefully review each camper’s application.
