The Child Development Center Region II is a local, non-profit organization providing early screening, identification, early intervention, and specialized educational services to families in Sheridan and Johnson Counties with children age birth to five with developmental needs.  Child Development Center Region II provides early intervention for children with developmental needs.  We currently serve over 222 children and families in our communities, helping them to attain skills to improve their overall abilities and to more fully succeed in the future.  We also provide over 600 free developmental screenings per year to children and families in Sheridan and Johnson Counties. 
 

Additional Services Include:
 

Free Developmental Screenings – Free developmental screenings for children age birth to five are offered on an on-going basis, including large community screenings in both Sheridan and Buffalo in August.  Families can bring children to these screenings to assess their development in the areas of hearing, speech / language skills, cognitive and adaptive skills, motor functioning, and social / emotional development.
