The Children's Neurodevelopmental Center is a comprehensive, coordinated care center for children, and includes assessment, treatment, and specialized therapeutic services. This center of excellence includes the former Child Development Center, as well as Hasbro Early Intervention, Families First CEDARR, and the Max-Palliative Care Program. Integrating specialists "under one roof" enables us to give these children and their families the care and support they need. The centralization will also offer greater opportunities for clinical research activity.

Child neurologists diagnose, treat, and manage diseases, disorders, or dysfunction of the central and peripheral nervous system (brain, spinal cord, nerves, and muscles).  These diseases include epilepsy, cerebral palsy, mental retardation, muscular dystrophy, headaches, metabolic and genetic diseases of the nervous system, learning , behavioral disorders, as well as nervous system complications of systemic diseases or infections (e.g meningitis and encephalitis), in infancy, childhood, and adolescence.
