Children’s Rehabilitative Services at St. Joseph’s Hospital
"The Children's Rehabilitative Services (CRS) clinic at St. Joseph’s Children’s Health Center (CHC) is committed to filling an important role in the medical community – providing patients quality care in a comprehensive clinic that offers diagnosis, treatment and management of complicated and disabling disorders.
The CRS mission is to provide medical treatment, rehabilitation and related support services to medically qualified individuals – primarily children – who have certain medical, disabling or potentially disabling conditions and have the potential for functional improvement. St. Joseph’s partners with the Arizona Physician IPA (APIPA) to fulfill this mission.
The CRS Program at St. Joseph’s has more than 12,500 patients enrolled. The patients range in age from birth to their 21st birthday. Patients receive a combination of outpatient clinic services, inpatient admissions, outpatient surgeries, plus a variety of ancillary services. There are nearly 600 pediatric specialty physicians that care for the patients.
Over 90 physician specialists provide over 32,000 visits a year in the 42 exam room clinic. The one-stop clinic services also include lab, pharmacy, and radiology services; psychology, physical, occupational, and speech therapy, audiology services, nutrition services, nursing, and social work support. The team members can meet with patients and families individually or participate in multidisciplinary planning clinics with the physician specialists."
