Mason City Public Transit is open to the general public, including those with disabilities.  Mason City Public Transit is owned and operated by the City of Mason City. To maintain the excellent service that is now provided, the system needs your support and assistance. You can help by following the safety policies, by not littering, and by reporting any vandalism to the driver.

Hours of Operation:
Mason City Transit operates from 6:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, except on certain holidays.

Mason City Transit Service is not offered on the following holidays:
New Year's Day
Memorial Day
Independence Day
Labor Day
Thanksgiving Day
Christmas Day

Fares:
Adults and students $.50 per one-way trip; monthly bus passes and tokens are available in City Hall on the first floor directly across the street from the Central Park Transit Depot.
