The Clifford School is a Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE)-approved and Department of Early Education and Care (DEEC)-licensed residential special education school for boys and girls (girls – day program only), aged between 10 ½ and 18. The goal of the program is to address academic and other needs so that students can quickly return to a less intensive educational setting where they can achieve and sustain success. This is accomplished by providing comprehensive educational instruction as well as social and recreational opportunities that meet or exceed state and federal standards and are tailored to each student’s individual learning ability and style.
