Columbus Recreation & Parks – Therapeutic Recreation
Therapeutic Recreation sponsors recreational activities that are modified to meet the needs of individuals with disabilities. We enhance an individual's physical, social, and lifetime recreational interests in a broad spectrum of leisure experiences. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to participate including the non-disabled.

Programs include:
Quest Afterschool Program – The Quest Program provides an inclusive environment for middle school and high school youth with and without disabilities the opportunity to participate in an after – school program in a safe structured environment to promote growth in a healthy lifestyle.
Paralympic Sports Club Columbus – Our Paralympic Sports Club assists athletes with disabilities in their pursuit of competing at the “next level” in a variety of sports for people with disabilities. To register, please complete the registration form and return to the address on the form, or call (614) 645-5648.
Our Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialists will work with participants on accommodations necessary to join in classes at our Community Centers through the use of the CRPD Accommodation Request.
