Out & About offers a wide variety of services for children, including an After School Program, a School Closure Day program, and a Summer Camp. We strongly believe in the potential of all and advocate for independence and social awareness through our community based therapeutic program.

Out & About offers services for school aged children on School Closure Days.
School Closure Days are determined based upon Instructor availability and the school district calendars for Boulder Valley, St. Vrain, and Adams 12. A typical School Closure Day is an eight hour day, including two different activities; one in the morning and one in the afternoon, with a break in between for lunch. School Closure Days activities are designed to create opportunities for participants to practice skills while learning to connect and contribute to their communities.

After School Program
Out & About’s After School program offers a variety of opportunities for participants to practice skills while learning to connect and contribute to their communities. Whether participants engage in activities in the community, or art and theater instruction, or bowling and swimming, all of the After School program activities focus on therapeutic skills including cognitive, social, motor, sensory integration, and self-exploration skills.

Summer Camp
Out & About offers a Summer Camp Program for school aged kids with developmental disabilities. Summer Camp offers ten weeks of full days, from 8:00 until 5:00 Monday through Friday, and is available to children ages 7 – 21.

Activities include:
