Cardiovascular Services & Diabetic Education:
Cardiovascular Services is a multifaceted specialty department within Holton Community Hospital. The department offers the Rehab and Wellness Program, nuclear medicine stress testing, holter monitoring and analysis, event recorder set-up, EKG's, echocardiograms and vascular ultrasound studies. The Diabetic Education department offers nutritional education and counseling for individuals diagnosed with diabetes. The program features a Certified Diabetic Eduator and is recognized by the American Diabetic Association.
Home Health/Hospice Services:
There are times, when personalized care is needed outside of the hospital setting. Our Home Health & Hospice teams bring professional care to you. We begin by reviewing your needs through discussions with involved family members and/or physician(s), social workers or nursing home staff. Then, we develop an individualized program to manage your daily needs. Whether your are simply recovering at home, or are looking for someone to care for a loved one during the final stages of life, you can count on our team to provide compassionate care while respecting the dignity of life.
Rehabilitation Services:
We understand that recovering from an illness or injury can be difficult. You need qualified professionals to help guide you through the rehabilitation process. At Holton Community Hospital, our rehabilitation department offers physical, occupational and speech therapy. Our team of licensed therapists and therapy assistants provide individualized attention to help you on your road to recovery. Services offered include, but are not limited to:
Wound care clinic
Lymphedema Management Program
Orthopedic and sport injury rehabilitation
Stroke rehabilitation
Infared therapy for wound care, pain reduction and increased circulation
Hand rehabilitation
Home safety and low vision evaluations

Ongoing Arthritis Foundation Exercise Program classes
