PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: The Special Kids Support Center (SKSC) has been providing culturally competent care coordination for its patients and families for over a decade.  The Center is well established and collaborates with many partners and agencies throughout the State of Connecticut to insure that children with special needs are being serviced appropriately.
The Special Kids Support Center provides families with care coordination for medical and non medical issues that adversely affect the child and his/her ability to function at the optimal level of health. The Center can also offer families assistance with educational and advocacy needs as well as linkage to community resources for social service requests. Most importantly, Special Kids Support Center empowers families to advocate for the needs of their children.
