DATTCO, Inc. Transit Lines
DATTCO Inc. is a family owned transportation business founded in 1924. We operate in several areas of bus and motorcoach transportation and have a mission to be the most professional, efficient and dedicated company in each of these fields. We currently employ over 1400 people and have terminals and service locations throughout New England. Our school bus division owns over 1000 buses and safely transports over 70,000 students in many school districts. We also own and operate a fleet of over 70 motorcoaches that tour across the continental United States and Canada. We specialize in group travel for all ages and interests, visiting attractions throughout the US. Within the charter division, we offer an extensive range of vehicles depending on specific needs and budgets. Our municipal transit and commuter services offer competitive and comfortable rides in Connecticut and Massachusetts, as well as dedicated routes to and from Mohegan Sun. Furthermore, we employ 120 mechanics within our servicing department who are responsible for the maintaining of buses, coaches and trucks at our 12 service facilities across New England. We have a dedicated sales and leasing department for buses and are an authorized dealer for IC school buses, Terra Transit and numerous others.
