Davis-Ramoth School, Northwest Arctic Borough School District
Davis-Ramoth School is part of the Northwest Arctic Borough School District.
Davis-Ramoth School is located in one the region’s largest villages and serves 266 students in grades PreK-12. Approximately 100% of the students are Alaska Native. Faculty seek to increase student motivation and achievement by incorporating art, music, and PE into the classroom. All students K-12 also receive instruction in bilingual education. High school students may also take Humanities Art I and Inupiaq Language. Career Technology Education courses such as Subsistence Shop; Welding I; Word Processing; Wood Tech I; Drafting I; Mechanical Drafting; Hunting, Trapping, and Survival; and Teaching as a Career are also offered to middle and high school students.
Davis-Ramoth School offers both academic and non-academic after-school activities to involve students in the school community, increase student motivation, and improve learning. Activities include Student Council, Wrestling, Cross Country, Volleyball, Boys & Girls Basketball, NYO, and Yearbook.
