DBTAC – Great Plains ADA Center
The Great Plains ADA Center is part of the ADA National Network, funded by the National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research (NIDRR) to provide technical assistance, information, and training on the Americans with Disabilities Act and related disability laws.
Established in 1991, we serve individuals, families and entities of Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska. We combine expertise on ADA federal guidelines with years of hands-on experience to provide technical assistance, training, and products that are effective and user-friendly.
Our staff receive continual training and updates on all areas of the ADA and related disability laws from key agencies involved in the ADA including the U.S. Access Board, the U.S Department of Justice, and the EEOC; giving us the depth and breadth of knowledge required to provide an array of comprehensive services tailored to meet your specific needs.

A unique service of the Great Plains ADA Center services is a toll-free information line. Our staff is available to answer questions, provide resources, and clarify issues as the need arises. The ADA Information Line is open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m to 5:00 p.m. Consumers can also submit questions on-line.
Training
The Great Plains ADA Center provides basic to advanced level workshops on all areas covered by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). These workshops can be specifically tailored to the needs and time constraints of your group or organization. The Great Plains ADA Center has access to the latest and most current information on new and proposed regulations through our long standing relationship with the key federal agencies involved in implementing and enforcing the ADA. Our training always reflects the most current information available on all areas of the ADA and related disability laws.
Materials
The Great Plains ADA Center provides numerous documents that are free or available at a nominal cost. These materials are developed or approved by the federal agencies that enforce ADA regulations such as the Department of Justice. Documents can also be downloaded from this website.
