The Division for the Visually Impaired is the State’s oldest agency with a history dating from 1909. Our Division is now organized into three primary programs, which include Education Program, Vocational Rehabilitation, and Independent Living Services. Additionally there are two direct employment units: Delaware Industries for the Blind and the Business Enterprise Program.Finally, there are support services including: Instructional Materials and Resource Center, Volunteer Services, Orientation and Mobility, Low Vision Services, Assistive Technology and Training Services Program, Fiscal Operations, and Information Systems Support.
