Dell Children’s Adaptive Sports Camp in Partnership with the YMCA of Austin Camp in Motion is a week long day camp program of sports, fitness and fun in an inclusive environment in which campers receive individual attention from Dell Children’s pediatric physical and occupational therapists and YMCA program staff.

Camp in Motion is designed for kids ages 5-21 with mild to moderate cerebral palsy, or other similar neurological diagnoses, who have reasonable use of at least one arm and can follow directions.

Kids at GMFCS Grade Levels I-IV are welcome as are those at Level V as long as they can use one arm, bring an attendant/nurse and are familiar to the camp program directors. The cost of the camp can be submitted to most health insurance plans, and scholarships will be made available. Please have your child’s doctor complete the last page of the Camp Registration Form and plan ahead for your insurance company’s expiration requirements. Insurance companies have different expiration requirements but most are around 30 days.
