Division of Behavioral Health Services – Arkansas Department of Human Services
The Division of Behavioral Health Service is one of the eleven major divisions and four offices within the Arkansas Department of Human Services. The division is responsible for ensuring the provision of public mental health and substance abuse treatment/prevention services throughout the State of Arkansas.
The Division of Behavioral Health Services is also responsible for the operation of two institutions — the Arkansas State Hospital (ASH) located in Little Rock and the Arkansas Health Center (AHC) in Benton.
