DMC Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan (RIM) is the official provider of rehabilitation services for DMC Children’s Hospital of Michigan

We provide customized services for many conditions, including: Cerebral palsy
Brachial plexus injuries
Myelomeningocele/spina bifida
Neuromuscular disorders
Orthopedic conditions
Gait disorders
Spinal cord injuries
Traumatic brain injuries
Dysphagia (feeding)

Pediatric Inpatient Rehab
Children’s Hospital of Michigan’s inpatient program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities, and is staffed by pediatric specialists in the areas of:
Physical Medicine and Rehab
Physical Therapy
Occupational Therapy
Speech-Language Pathology
Therapeutic Recreation

Pediatric Outpatient Rehabilitation – Our three outpatient locations are kid-friendly and staffed with physical and occupational therapists and speech-language pathologists. All of RIM’s pediatric rehab specialists are experienced in the complexities of pediatric disability and rehabilitation.,
