Easterseals Alaska provides services to children and adults with disabilities and other special needs, and support to their families.  Easterseals Alaska Child Development Center, Tundra Tykes is proud of its accreditation status.

Easterseals Alaska offers the following services and support:
 

• Personal Care Services: Personal care service provides hands on care to clients and assistance with daily living activities such as: bathing and dressing, personal hygiene, meal planning and preparation, light housekeeping, medication assistance, transfers, eating assistance, ambulation and toileting assistance.
• Respite Services: Services include meal planning and preparation, socialization, medication reminders, companionship and transporting to and from community outings.
• Chore Services:  Services include light house keeping, shopping & errands and meal preparation.  A worker can as well provide transportation to and from medical appointments.
• Day Habilitation Services: Day habilitation services provides out of home support in acquiring or improving social and adaptive skills in a community setting.  This service assists in achieving the personal goals of each individual.
• Support Employment Services: Supported employment services provides supervision and support in developing and maintaining employment skills.  For information on any of these programs please contact us at  907-277-7325.
• Easterseals Alaska can assist you in navigating the complex application process of various services; keeping all appropriate paperwork complete and in order.  Easterseals can also offer referral to qualified Care Coordinators.
