Therapeutic Recreation is the purposeful use of play, recreation and leisure experiences or activities to bring about a change in one’s physical, mental, social or emotional well being. All therapy services at Easters Seals are provided by certified and/or licensed therapists who specialize in the provision of therapeutic recreation services to individuals across the life span. Therapists work closely with the family, the participant’s physician, and other health care practitioners setting treatment goals that are realistic and consistent with the individual’s needs.
Programs are conducted Monday through Friday at designated times throughout the day and early evening. Participants are required to register for the time that works best for them.
School and Early Intervention contracts are scheduled individually
