Easter Seals has been helping individuals with disabilities and special needs, and their families, live better lives for more than 90 years. Whether helping someone improve physical mobility, return to work or simply gain greater independence for everyday living, Easter Seals offers a variety of services to help people with disabilities address life's challenges and achieve personal goals.

Programs and Services:  Autism Services, Family Behavioral Health Services, Children's Development Therapies and Services.

 

Early Intervention Therapeutic Services:

Easter Seals Michigan offers early intervention therapeutic services statewide for children with autism, speech and language delays, emotional, motor and social skill issues, as well as sensory integrative dysfunction. Some services are center-based in Grand Rapids, Flint, Southfield and Waterford while others are provided in the family home. Easter Seals Michigan is also affiliated with the Autism Collaborative Center at Eastern Michigan University.

 

Programs include: The P.L.A.Y. project, Early Intervention Services for children 0-3, Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language therapy, Sensory Integration, Therapeutic Camp Experiences.

AgrAbility – Agr Ability is a statewide program offered in partnership with Michigan State University Extension, Michigan Farm Bureau, Michigan Rehabilitation Services, and United Cerebral Palsy to provide need assessment and resource information for adaptive equipment for farmers who have an injury, disability or illness and need accommodations to continue farming.
