The mission of  The Epilepsy Foundation of Minnesota (EFMN) lead the fight to stop seizures, find a cure and help overcome the challenges created by epilepsy.  Founded in 1954, the Epilepsy Foundation of Minnesota is a non-profit organization that offers programs and services to educate, connect and empower people affected by seizures.  EFMN is an affiliate of the national Epilepsy Foundation. 

Programs and Services Include: Volunteer Program, Advocacy, Conference and Workshops,  Shining Star Program, Seizure Smart Schools Program, Information and Referral, Creative Arts Program, and Events and Discussion groups. Their program "Seizure Smart Communities" brings seizure education and awareness to every corner of Minnesota and eastern North Dakota
