Evergreen educates nearly 27,000 students in grades K-12 and employs approximately 3,000 people. Evergreen Public Schools is one of the fastest-growing large school districts in Washington and the fourth largest of the 295 districts in the state. Children with physical, emotional, academic, or intellectual disabilities may be eligible for special services through the district’s Special Education program. Assessments are done at the school level, and parents are involved in the assessment process and in determining placement into the program.
